The recently launched My Minneapolis Apartments is run by known slumlord, Spiros Zorbalas, and seems to be a cover for UPi, which is his company that oversees (or formerly oversaw) many apartment complexes in Minneapolis.
We have already established that myminneapolisapartments.com is owned by Zorbalas.
I have also been receiving tips that some of the UPi signs around town have been changing to “myminneapolisapartments.com” signs. A coincidence? Probably not.
I discovered this map of UPi apartments in Minneapolis and plan to cross-reference it with the My Minneapolis Apartments property listing.

The old main office for UPI has changed to My Minneapolis Apartments. No phone number has been posted yet. The office hours seem to be better than they used to – the sign said 10-4 mon through fri. I think upi’s hours were 12-4 tues and thurs or something that made it almost impossible to get to if you work day shifts.
I’m filing a conciliation claim. Not sure to whom I’m directing it now — upi? this “myminneapolisapts?” or directly to the ‘owner?’
phone number I have for them is 612-874-6620

I am trying to beat Zorbalas in bankruptcy court. He has claimed to the Court that UPI had no income in 2010. Did you have a lease in 2010 or 2011? If so, will you email me a copy. Unless I win in bankruptcy, you and everyone else wil be out of luck trying to make him pay. If I win in the bankruptcy court, I will ask the Court to establish a fund to pay all the former tenant claims. Colleen MacAlister, colleen@cjmaclaw.com
I think you can probably direct it to my minneapolis apts. I recently left a letter at the my minneapolis apartments office (the former UPI office on Franklin) to get my CRP from last year and within two days they mailed me my UPI CRP. The return address on the envelope was My Minneapolis Apartments.
I was very surprised that they responded, and that it was quick. Perhaps their office ethics are improving.
Ha! Doubtful.
Glad to hear you got your CRP (which they are required by law to give you), but this is the same company that refused to heat its buildings in the winter 2 and 3 years ago.

Please see my comment to Jolene. Will you email of fax me a copy of your 2010 CRP? 239-790-5779 Thanks, Colleen
Oh, I know I think I was just so astounded to actually get it and in a timely manner that for a second I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
The website is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
